Yoga Flow

Yoga Flow synchronizes the motions of moving from posture to posture further synchronized with the body’s breath. The goal is to have a sustained physical activity that is not necessarily all that strenuous but an exhaustive workout none-the-less.

Yoga Flow is Vinyasa Yoga based. The smooth flowing nature of this class is almost dance-like.The purpose of sequential Yoga Flow is to create physical strength and stamina along with mental focus and increased concentration. As you create harmony between mind and body, your natural healing abilities tend to increase. The first to be noticed is lower blood pressure and reduced insomnia.

Yoga Flow regulates your breath, balances heart rate, stretches your body muscles and helps control stress and anxiety. The reward for your yoga training consistency is natural permanent weight loss. Your teacher will guide you on this journey.

Power Yoga

Power Yoga is a vigorous, energetic fitness-based practice. It incorporates calisthenics into the yoga postures.It emphasizes core strength, muscular flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina all in one practice. Be prepared to work hard and sweat – sweat a lot.

A Power Yoga class challenges both the aerobic and anaerobic systems of your body.  A combination of a lower heart rate and improved oxygenation results in higher cardiovascular endurance. Your circulation and blood pressure is highly improved and your immune system is markedly stronger enhancing the body’s ability to self-heal. You are able to concentrate more intensely and have more clarity of mind. As your body adapts, the teacher will modify, intensify and speed up the process to make it more challenging. Bottom line, you are getting in shape and in sync. No more ugly fat – take it off and keep it off.
